WHERE
CREATIVITY
BECOMES A PATHWAY…
TO INNER WELLBEING
I use creativity to nurture wellbeing, connection, confidence and engagement across organisations, communities and individuals
Art is more than what we see; it is a language for what words cannot express. My own journey through change and self-discovery, finding my voice through colour and tone, has shaped both my art and the way I guide others. At the heart of every session is a belief in your creativity, your story, and your potential to grow.
Anna Virabyan
Wellness & Self-Discovery Through Art
I create and lead meaningful creative experiences that invite exploration, encourage self-expression, and create a safe space for reflection.
What to expect
Each session is thoughtfully structured and adapted to its purpose, group and setting. You’ll be guided through accessible creative activities, with materials provided and no previous artistic experience required. Sessions may include individual exploration, collaborative making, conversation and time to develop your own work — creating an engaging and memorable experience for everyone involved.
Testomonials
“Anna is a very talented artist and a brilliant teacher. Her workshops at King's have been transformative experiences as she encourages everyone to 'let go' and see what happens on paper. Through Anna’s supportive approach, and the openness she encourages among participants, we create a space in which we can express ourselves as we are and in which we all feel we belong, regardless of background, position or (legal) status.”
Dr Leonie Ansems de Vries, Senior Lecturer in the Department of War Studies and Chair of the Migration Research Group, King’s College.“Anna is exceptionally well-suited to creative wellbeing and community art work, not least because of her extensive artistic training and her considerable experience supporting people from vulnerable and diverse backgrounds, including refugees and people affected by domestic violence, torture and trafficking. She has received awards in recognition of her work, and her artistic skills, talent and charisma enable her to engage people who have experienced significant challenges, encouraging them to express themselves and explore their experiences through a variety of creative mediums. Her ability to create welcoming, safe and inspiring creative spaces has been recognised by every organisation with which she has worked to date.”
Dr Roxane Agnew-Davies - CPsychol, AFBPsS
Director, Domestic Violence Training Ltd
Honorary Research Fellow, Centre for Academic Primary Care, Bristol Medical School“The course gave me a lifeline during a very dark period of my life. I found that the women in the class were cheerful and confident, despite facing their own major difficulties. The atmosphere was open, creative and honest, and everyone happily shared their art, regardless of artistic talent. During those first few sessions I realised that I had not worried during the time I had been sketching – I had managed to switch off the vigilant “always on” feeling that I had. The class was also a lifeline at a time when there was no social contact possible outside the home.’
Moyra - Participant at Sutton Women’s CentreEverything is Connected…
Alongside individual artwork, participants collaborate on large sheets of paper, fostering connection and a sense of shared experience. The session offers a safe and supportive environment in which you can explore your recovery journey, share daily challenges, and celebrate personal achievements.
